After all of these years... it's Sweeeeeeeeeeet! To end the season #1. To go into the championship as #1...
Yes, I wore my OSU shirt to church today. I would have worn it if we had lost. But it was definitely worth the teasing to wear it. And the girls wore their OSU gear as well. Ken showed class with a scarlet/grey checked shirt. We let him off the hook...
I have the right to party! You see, I was in "THE Band." I have a degree from OSU. I sat in the rain, sleet and beer spray in Ann Arbor. Made the long bus trip home on the losing end of several games...
I was a Buckeye fan in the Earle B years, after the TKO by Woody... and it's just really nice to have a classy coach like Jim Tressel and the Buckeyes having a winning season.
Sooo pardon me if I do a little victory dance and yell a little. It's just SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!
GO BUCKS!!!! YES!!

I was in school at OSU during the Woody-Earle Bruce era. My undergrad degree dates from 1982. Also endured the 1980 Rose Bowl loss to USC.It would be so sweet to kick their butts in the BCS this year!!
Yes I graduated in 78 - in the band in 77 and 78 (went to 3 bowls - Rose, Orange and Sugar)... Was there when Archie got his bookend Heismans... and Weigel Hall was the location of the School of Music ballfield...
memories...

I went to the high school Archie (Columbus Eastmoor) graduated from...We had both Heismans in our trophy case for awhile. I also took a golf class when Fred Taylor was teaching it...yes, sweet memories. And I'm still only 25!
This is a good place for me to delurk, be a good sport, and to congratulate you that the best team won this past Saturday.
But don't tell my Michigan friends that --they might string me up!
