Shameless self-advertisement...

Last year I was "interviewed" (via email) for an article that was written for the magazine E-Quality (published by Christians for Biblical Equality.) The article was on egalitarian Christian marriages and parenting. My cyber-friend Kathy Nesper (whom I actually have met IRL) wrote it... and you can find it HERE!

Now you'll see how radical I really am. :)

Wonderful article!
My Loving husband and I try hard to model this as well.
It's on occasion harder than it first seems -- my girls were once surprise that men could be preachers! It's all about balance...

Deb - that's an awesome article - thanks for the link. Beloved and I are trying to do some of the same in our parenting. Granted, with a six-month-old it's not quite the challenge you've had yet, but we're practicing teamwork as much as possible.

FYI, there's a really funny story on a new "game" over at the Onion - look for Activision and Sousaphone Hero. I linked to it at my blog, too.

Great article, Deb! Special K and I do try to do things as a team as well - granted, we're not parents yet, but I can't imagine either of us making unilateral decisions, because we just don't. We do joke about who may do what when we have kids (I have a strict rule that no one vomits alone in my presence, so he's on solid-food-upchuck duty...), but part of what I love about my husband is the feeling of having a real partner.
