And cats think HUMANS are strange...

This is just TOOO funny.

This morning, I came in the bathroom recently to find one of our cats, Tiria, having a good ol' chew on a toothbrush. (It wasn't mine... but... I replaced my toothbrush AND my beloved's.)

After I replaced the toothbrushes, I covered them. Apparently the new minty-fresh taste we just started using is cat-tastic in flavor. Interestingly, the girls have been covering theirs for some time... and never told us why...

How long has this been going on? I don't want to know!!! I will be sure and tell any house guests to keep their toothbrushes hooded!

At any rate, Tiria apparently was annoyed with me and blogged about it here.

Here's to a good chuckle along the way...

I never ever thought of cats doing this! And our cat spends every night in the bathroom, with the door shut! That's because she scratches on doors at night, when we're trying to sleep. We don't want pets sleeping with us at night. Good plan for your toothbrushes.

Our bathroom has this cool toothbrush holder that rotates around into the wall, so you can hide away the toothbrushes. Well, you can if your toothbrushes are small enough to fit in the holes and the opening - modern ones are all too big! [We saw something similar at a historic "All Electric" model house circa 1950, so perhaps that's when it was installed at our house.]

Tricia (p.s. some blogger blogs let me use "other" but yours insists on me using my blogger identity, thus the TJ)

Our new cat likes to drink out of the faucet, so we already have banned her from the bathroom. You just gave us another reason to keep it up!
